New infrastructure for our product suite
What is the new infrastructure?
The new infrastructure includes a new Kubernetes cluster plus Replicated (KOTS) for simplified release, license, and property management.
Introducing the new infrastructure has various advantages and also enables us to offer a private AWS cloud model to deploy your infrastructure. Check the possibility with our Customer Success team.

What are the motivations behind this change?
- Simpler release process. New releases available every week and deployable with one single-click;
- Out-of-the-box backup process for all your data;
- Faster and more efficient support based on support bundles;
- Better license management – visibility over expiration, user usage, and others;
- Support of Single Sign-On (SSO) via Google, Microsoft, and other identity providers;
- Better release management, reducing the necessity to manual intervention from the IT admins.
- All the benefits of modern Kubernetes environment;
- Standardizing Labforward’s tech stack, which permits us to offer more Deployment Models depending on your requirements.

In order to support you in the successful installation of the new infrastructure we would like to ask you to fill out this installation questionnaire and schedule a meeting with our support team here.
Optionally, you can ask for our installation package and perform the installation by yourself by following our documentation.
Current installation lifetime
Please note that the current infrastructure’s last release will be at the end of Q3 2023. From Q1 2024 onwards, those who have not migrated to the new infrastructure will no longer be supported with new updates – they will only receive critical bug fixes and security updates. Therefore, we highly encourage you to conduct the infrastructure update and will provide you with all support required for the installation and migration process. This ensures that you will receive access to all the latest features and updates!
Migration process
After installing the new infrastructure, you can use the same database as for the old application or migrate your data to a new database managed by Labforward inside the Kubernetes cluster. For assistance with this step, please schedule an appointment with our support team.
